HyperShot's really fast for prototyping. It's a very simple concept but: modeling in SketchUp 15 min. textures in Illustrator 2 min. and rendering in HyperShot 15 min. What more can you ask for? This example is for very fast conception of a room with my customers. Thanks to Leunamme for posting this to the Bunkspeed Forum.

Just posting because of recent interest in architectural scenes. Used a variety of different hdri for mood lighting. Light comes from outside the room.. no interior lights in this scene.

New Beta HyperShot Plugin for SketchUp 7 available now!

We finally received the necessary code from the Google folks. The plugins are available for immediate download through the updated links on the right.

Just as before, you need to have a licensed commercial or trial version of HyperShot running. Simply download the plugin-in for either Windows or Mac, unzip the file, and double-click on the installer. The installer will take care of everything and put all the necessary files into the right location.

Refreshed links to the latest plugin Beta

The beta plugin download links have been refreshed with the latest plugin. The links are found in the sidebar on the RIGHT.

Run the executable for windows and this will install the plugin in the C:\Program Files\Google\Google SketchUp 6\Plugins folder. We are awaiting the API for Sketchup 7 so the plugin only will work with Sketchup 6 and earlier.

You also have to have HyperShot licensed version or the trial version installed.

Here we import a sketchup model directly from the 3D warehouse. The model is loaded into Sketchup, exported to hyperShot then the BRDF materials are applied with drag and drop. The environment is changed and a background image is loaded to simulate a studio shot. The whole process takes about 5 minutes start to finish.
